Memory Foam Summary
Just beneath each cover, TruCell memory foam responds to your body temperature and weight, reducing pressure points and creating the perfect blend of comfort and support for less tossing and turning and improved circulation. TruCell, our High-Performance temperature smart visco elastic memory foam, was designed to withstand the long term effects of heat and moisture - a major cause of body impressions. Unlike the knock-offs and imports, our specialized formulas have passed strict laboratory tests designed just for bedding. The TruCell visco elastic memory foam has an ILD of 8 - 11. TruCell combines the perfect blend of density and comfort - Comfort That Holds True.
There were three common objectives in deciding on the best memory foam for our mattresses: heat dissipation, odor elimination, and cradling effect.
Dissipates Heat
The most common complaint with memory foam mattresses in general is that it can sometimes make a person feel warmer. Memory foam is very dense foam, making it harder for heat to escape. The more dense the foam, the less air flow for heat to escape. To overcome this problem, we use TruCell memory foam, which has an open-cell structure. The open-cell structure allows heat to escape and air to flow around the body, creating a more comfortable sleeping environment.
Unlike other open-cell structure memory foam, our proprietary chemical formulation translates into a more temperature neutral foam where heat is not allowed to build up. The engineering team met the challenge of addressing consumer comfort by inventing foam chemistry solely for eliminating the natural tendencies of heat associated with memory foam.
It is a fact that we use the coolest memory foam made by anyone. This has to do entirely with the shape of the molecules in the memory foam. There is no molecular shape that could dissipate heat better, and this molecular shape is patented. Though many other memory foam manufacturers advertise "cool memory foam", none dissipate heat as well as this memory foam. Through lab tests, other memory foam can pull heat and air side to side fairly well. However, other foams cannot pull heat and air well from top to bottom, which is what's most important. It is important for heat to be able to move down into the mattress so it can be pulled away from your body.
This memory foam feels cool to the touch. If fact, when placing your hand between two pieces of TruCell memory foam, you can actually feel the heat being pulled away from your hand.
Virtually Odorless
Another common complaint with most memory foam mattresses is the odor. Typically, more dense foams, like memory foam, have a stronger odor because there is a higher concentration of material packed into a given space. Fresh Foam Technology used in TruCell memory foam alleviates odors associated with new memory foam. TruCell visco is "virtually odorless" visco foam because of the new proprietary chemistry of the open-cell structure, allowing it to breathe much easier. In addition, our TruCell memory foam will continue to eliminate odors through the use of activated carbon. It's the same type of material found in premium air filters and other odor filtration devises.
Cradling Effect
Strut reinforcing cellular technology (SRT) provides strength in the cell structure unsurpassed in the industry. SRT made its debut in the spring of 2005. This technology serves two purposes. The first is that it overcomes the cradling effect that many people find to be a nuisance when trying to roll over at night. TruCell memory foam fills in behind you as you turn in bed much quicker than most other memory foams. The second purpose SRT technology serves is that because the walls of the memory foam cells are reinforced, or stronger, it holds up much longer than any other memory foam of the same density on the market.
Support Foam Summary
The base foam used under the TruCell memory foam is M-Grade support foam. M-Grade foam was created specifically for bedding, unlike the very common HR (high resiliency) foams that most bedding manufacturers use, which is also used in furniture and upholstery products. Laboratory tests show that body impressions in a mattress are caused less by weight than what was always previously believed. Tests have shown that salts and moisture from the body actually break down traditional foams, leaving body impressions. M-Grade foam holds up remarkably better in these conditions than any other polyurethane foam currently on the market that has been tested. What does this mean for you? It means a much longer lasting mattress.
This base foam also uses Strut reinforcing cellular technology (SRT). This provides strength in the cell structure, which helps to prolong the life of the foam. You'll notice when you open the mattress for the first time, which will be compressed into a smaller box, the support foam rebounds back to its' original size within seconds. This cannot be said for most any other foam on the market. This is due to the quality of the foam and the reinforced cell structure.
Support Foam Specifications
Base foam or support foam is equally as important to the comfort of the mattress as the memory foam is. The density of the base foam will determine how long the mattress will last, and the firmness will determine the amount of support it gives your body. The M-Grade base support foam has a density of 2.1 lb and an ILD of 32. Typically, average mattresses have support foams with densities ranging from 1.5 lb to 1.8 lb, 1.8 lb being for nicer mattresses. It's rare to find mattresses with base foams more dense (or better quality) than this. That's why we've decided to provide this quality. And for these reasons, we can offer a 20 year warranty.

Foam Specifications

Soy Based Foam
The Preserve® foam used in our mattresses comes from Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company, based
in Hickory, NC. In 2005 they announced the introduction of a breakthrough foam product that reduces
reliance worldwide on non-renewable petrochemical resources in foam manufacturing. This latest
development came at a time of rising petroleum prices and concerns about raw material availability.
This new product marked the Company's first foray into the creation of a flexible polyurethane foam
that replaces a portion of its petrochemical-based ingredients with a reactive material made from a
sustainable, renewable resource, while providing cushioning that is comparable, if not better, in terms
of quality and performance, to oil-based foam formulas on the market today.
Health & Safety
The health and safety of our products is much more important to us than having the cheapest price.
There are many chemicals used in low end mattresses and imported memory foam mattresses that have
been proven harmful. We have chosen Hickory Springs as our foam supplier because of their stance on
health and the environment. With Preserve® foam, Hickory Springs has successfully replaced 30% of the
petrochemical-derived polyol with a bio-based polyol made from soy beans.
The Company’s six foam plants were among the first in the nation to eliminate the use of CFC’s and methylene chloride as auxiliary blowing agents. Hickory Springs has cooperated with consultants hired by the United Nations to assist Third World countries’ cessation of CFC use in the production of flexible polyurethane foam. According to anecdotal evidence only, the use of CFC is common in foam product in China and other Asian countries where the black market for CFCs thrives.
Based on health concerns, Hickory Springs was also an industry leader in the eliminations of PDBE for fire retardants. Based on alarming studies of bioaccumulation in human tissue and negative reports from the European Community, Hickory Springs initiated its own review of PBDE findings and set a goal to remove this product, which had been the industry’s workhorse fire retardant since the mid-1980s. An article that appeared in the LA Times in October 2003 highlighted this effort (see link) and further illustrated Hickory Springs’ role as an industry leader.

CertiPUR Certification
Hickory Springs was the first domestic foam producer to qualify foam for the CertiPUR-US program. The
CertiPUR-US certification process involves intense foam assessment, including VOC testing and chemical
breakdown analysis. It also involves signed affirmation that CertiPUR-US-prohibited ingredients, such as
ozone-depleting CFCs, PBDE fire retardants, lead, mercury and other materials of concern, are not being
utilized in the foaming process.
Hickory Springs is one of several founding members of the CertiPUR-US program, which was officially introduced by the Polyurethane Foam Association in 2007 and is now operated by the Alliance of Flexible Polyurethane Foam, Inc. (AFPF), of which Hickory Springs VP Bobby Bush is chairman.

The mattress arrived in fine shape and we unpacked it and let it expand for a day. Put it on our wood daybed and started using it right away. I tried it first and really appreciated the memory foam as opposed to our old mattress with springs. I'm a heavy person and if it were for me, I'd probably like a little more firmness.

After several months of researching, getting opinions from friends and family and sleeping on several different memory foam mattresses at my children's homes, I recently purchased a CoolMax Memory Foam mattress from Overnight Mattress. I read reviews and was warned about the heat, the smell and what can happen to the mattress over time without a cover. Over the years, I have slept on a foam mattress while living in Thailand and most recently purchased a Temper-pedic topper for my innerspring mattress.
I am eighty years old in very good health having had one knee replaced this past year and having the other done this fall. In the process of recovering from my surgery, I became quite discerning about my mattress comfort needs.
My new mattress has provided so many benefits to my life. The CoolMax zip on cover is excellent and very well designed and constructed. At first, the odor was minimal, and after allowing the mattress to air-out for several days before sleeping on it, I cannot detect any odor. Previously, I would sleep approximately four hours and get up at least once a night. Now I am sleeping six to eight hours straight and awakening feeling no aches or pains. I have found that I can lie down in any position and immediately feel comfortable. I don't awaken when changing positions. The most amazing sensation is that of my body feeling totally supported in any position, almost up-lifted.
Having slept on a memory foam without a cover, I never had that experience and was sometimes difficult to change positions.

My wife and I needed to get away from the foes of the coil-spring mattress. Our old mattress was placing painful pressure points on our bodies. We would wake up with sore necks and shoulders. HELP! I'm not able to get my family out of bed. Ever since we loaded our home with the new mattresses from Overnight Mattress my whole family doesn't want to get out of bed. My husband and I ordered the Bamboo Royal King with the medium firmness. I had researched and looked for the best mattress spec with the most reasonable price. We are so pleased with the support this mattress gives and in particular, the wonderful sleep we are experiencing. This mattress has helped to minimize the issues I have had with my back. Before the Bamboo Royal, I could only stand to be in bed until early morning. Now, I do not experience any discomfort. Sometimes I find myself wanting to stretch out on the bed during the day because it really feels that good! I don't have any problem getting to bed at night. We realized with this new bed that perhaps our young adult daughters, both are athletes, may need to change out their pillow tops for a better night's sleep with the Cool Max. They have had their new mattresses for about a week now and both report that they sleep wonderfully. Both claim that they are waking without any stiffness or aches. Both are in college and I am worried they will miss their classes because they don't want to get out of bed! I guess they'll have to find another way than a poor night's sleep to wake themselves and get going. Thanks for your excellent customer service and prompt deliveries. Great experience with the purchase. The mattress has been great so far, much better buying process than going to a mattress dealer. Was a little skeptical at the start but everything turned out great.
Only negative was that the mattress didn't arrive overnight. Box spring came after 3 days, mattress after 4 days. Maybe you should rename to ‘Mattress in a Couple of Days' because that's what happened. Overnight would have been great but absolutely not necessary.
Also, it was very surprising how small a box both mattress and box spring came in, it was fun watching the mattress expand with access to air!
Overall, Overnight Mattress was a great deal. Pricing was much lower than local or national stores for a similar mattress. Quality appears solid after a month on the bed. Highly recommend Overnight Mattress!

My wife and I had a King Sized pillow top bed that we paid about $1,800 for new. After 6 years, the mattress was like sleeping in a hammock and we would wake with back aches regularly. We purchased the Cool Comfort king sized mattress from Overnight Mattress and received it about a month ago.
Since we are both used to a very soft mattress, it was comfortable but a little firm for us with the protective cover on it that we purchased with it. The protective covering doesn't allow you to sink in to the mattress and we had more pressure points. After a couple of days, we removed that and we both love the mattress. We wake up much less during the night, since you don't feel the other person moving.
We also like the memory foam pillows that came with the mattress. They are very comfortable if you are sleeping on your back, however, they could use more foam in there for side sleepers. Do you offer them with more stuffing in them?

It is hard to believe it has been nine months since we got our King - CoolMax Memory Foam mattress. I was at my wit's end with the mattress for which we had paid almost $2,000. That mattress was so comfortable, for about 6 months. It was a big pillow top, huge at about 16" in height. But after a couple of years it started to hammock, and each morning I'd wake up with a painfully sore back. Both my wife and I sleep on our sides, so I thought we needed something soft on top so our arms wouldn't keep falling asleep every few hours. That was probably a mistake since we still ended up with arms that fell asleep and a sore back to boot.
In frustration I started looking for an alternative mattress, even though the thought of spending more money on a new mattress that might also be a nightmare in six months was keeping me from dumping the old one. A foam mattress looked like the best choice to me, but I had a couple of reservations. If I hated the mattress I wanted to be able to return it, but I wanted to try it out for a reasonable amount of time. I also did not want to pay for shipping back my return. No apologies, I'm cheap. Overnight mattress had all that covered with a very generous trial period and free shipping for the return. Now that's belief in your product.
I was also concerned about being hot sleeping on a foam mattress, so I was glad we bought it in the summer so I could really put the mattress to the test. We did not buy the top of the line by any stretch of the imagination, so I figured at worst, if I only kind of liked the mattress, I'd see if they would do an upgrade, like I had read about in the reviews. I took the plunge, ordered the mattress with free shipping, and because we are only one state away, got the mattress the next day.
I unpacked it, let it relax to its full size, then wrestled the behemoth mattress it was replacing off our platform and slid our new mattress in its place. I was impressed right way. The mattress was firm, but molded to my shape. I did not get hot that night (or any night since), my back soreness disappeared almost right way and we have no problems with numb arms. It's been nine months now and I wouldn't ever go back to a spring mattress. The older I get, the more I enjoy a good night's sleep, and they're all good night's sleep now.
Money's tight for everyone right now, but you will not find a better value than one of these mattresses anywhere.

It remains cool even during hot summer nights....it is the perfect firmness which means it feels stable underneath as the top cradles your dips and curves. I suffer from genetic arthritis and back problems so getting out of bed in the mornings has been torture. For the first time I had no shoulder pain and rolling over was easy and painfree. The order came quickly. The mattress had only a very light oder which dissipated in just a couple of hours. It was kind of fun watching it expand when I took off the protective plastic. I also purchased the Pragma BedTM frame which was easy to set up and provides a good base for the bed. It also has enough room under it for me to store items in my small apartment. The only complaint I have is for the VersiFlex foundation. It provides the support needed, however its craftmanship and set-up were of some concern. The foundation came double packed in cardboard. The directions on the box say not to cut the box which is a common enough statement if there is merchandise that could be damaged. However, I had no idea that the inside cardboard wrap was actually part of the foundation. It was difficult to get out of the box and did not slide out so I had to tear part of the cardboard. Only later when reading the directions which were packed inside did I realize I had to use the cardboard to cover the slats before putting on the cloth cover. Out came the duct tape for repair. The directions themselves were hard to read and blurry. The wood had splinters, holes were not drilled well, and the bolts for the center piece were not long enough to also use the washer. I did need a hammer to try to get bolts in and dowels to connect. Once most of it was together I had to take it apart again because the picture did not clearly show which end of the wood pieces should be up. But it is all together now, and I am happily snoozing.

I had a large canopy water bed. It had leaked one time so I then filled the tubes with air. It was uncomfortable so I was looking for a mattress to fit in it. Nothing was the same size. I then ordered the queen mattress and added foam to the side. It all goes into a zippered cover and I now have a normal bed that is comfortable. It is hard to explain what I did to make it work but I am very happy with it now. You may have other people with water bed frames who want to do the same thing. The roundtrip shipping expenses to Overnight Mattress will be at the customer's expense. Upon request, we can provide a list of competitively priced shipping companies that are capable of handling your warranty shipping needs. As a registered customer, you are automatically enrolled under our limited warranty, and no further warranty registration is required.What we will do:
- In the event that repair or replacement resulting from a defect is required, Overnight Mattress will repair or replace (at Overnight Mattress's option) the defective product or component at a cost to the original purchaser based on the previous tables. The "original purchase price" is the price of the defective product or component at the time the warranty claim is made, or the price of a comparable product or component if the original product or component is no longer in production. Overnight Mattress will forward replacement parts via its normal shipping method.
- Overnight Mattress reserves the right to substitute products or components of equal or better quality in the repair or replacement of any product under this limited warranty.

- Tampering with or opening finished components of the warranted product.

A signature is required for all deliveries unless specified differently when checking out, or requested by email after placing your order. If you miss the first delivery, it will be attempted 2 more times. You may also sign the delivery slip after the initial attempt to request delivery with no signature. After a total of 3 attempts, the item(s) will be held at the local FedEx Station for pickup at your convenience.

If an item becomes out of stock during the time you submit your order for processing, we will attempt to contact you (by phone and email) immediately after receiving your order, to give you an estimated time for delivery. Mattress Packaging - What to Expect
Every mattress is compressed and rolled in our factory in Tennessee. They are usually packaged the same day or one day before they are shipped. The mattresses come in two separate boxes and will be shipped seperately. The inner support foam core (9" thick) comes in one box with the zip-on quilted cover and foam topper comes in the second box. The only assembly involves inserting the topper layer to the top zipper chamber. It's as simple as that!
Because of the high density and premium quality of both the foam topper (memory foam, latex foam, or gel foam) and M-Grade base foam used in all foam mattresses, they rebound to their original size within minutes of opening. Other compressed foam mattresses can take several days before they are ready for use. When ordering from Overnight Mattress, you can rest assured that your new bed will be ready to sleep on almost immediately.
