Three Layered Core Summary
The core of this mattress has three layers. The three layered design is far superior to a two layered mattress core for comfort reasons. It creates a progressive firmness, eliminating the very common issue of a sleeper feeling the firm support layer beneath the soft memory foam. Many memory foam mattresses feel soft initially, but after compressing the memory foam layer, a sleeper feels as though they are lying directly on firm support foam. This can be uncomfortable. The intermediate foam layer we use acts as a transitional layer between the soft memory foam and the firm support foam, making a considerable difference in the comfort of the mattress. Other low-end memory foam mattress manufacturers choose to use a two layered system because it's much less expensive to make. Many try to overcome the common problem of feeling the firm support layer under the soft memory foam layer simply by making the support layer softer. This approach only lowers the amount of support needed by the heavier parts of your body and your lower back. Optimal comfort and support can only be achieved using a three layered core.
Memory Foam Summary
TruCell memory foam responds to your body temperature and weight, reducing pressure points and creating the perfect blend of comfort and support for less tossing and turning and improved circulation. TruCell, our High- Performance temperature smart visco elastic memory foam, was designed to withstand the long term effects of heat and moisture - a major cause of body impressions. Unlike the knock-offs and imports, our specialized formulas have passed strict laboratory tests designed just for bedding. There were three common objectives in deciding on the best memory foam for our mattresses: heat dissipation, odor elimination, and cradling effect.
Dissipates Heat
The most common complaint with memory foam mattresses in general is that it can sometimes make a person feel warmer. Memory foam is very dense foam, making it harder for heat to escape. The more dense the foam, the less air flow for heat to escape. To overcome this problem, we use TruCell memory foam, which has an open-cell structure. The open-cell structure allows heat to escape and air to flow around the body, creating a more comfortable sleeping environment.
Unlike other open-cell structure memory foam, our proprietary chemical formulation translates into a more temperature neutral foam where heat is not allowed to build up. The engineering team met the challenge of addressing consumer comfort by inventing foam chemistry solely for eliminating the natural tendencies of heat associated with memory foam.
It is a fact that we use the coolest memory foam made by anyone. This has to do entirely with the shape of the molecules in the memory foam. There is no molecular shape that could dissipate heat better, and this molecular shape is patented. Though many other memory foam manufacturers advertise "cool memory foam", none dissipate heat as well as this memory foam. Through lab tests, other memory foam can pull heat and air side to side fairly well. However, other foams cannot pull heat and air well from top to bottom, which is what's most important. It is important for heat to be able to move down into the mattress so it can be pulled away from your body.
This memory foam feels cool to the touch. If fact, when placing your hand between two pieces of TruCell memory foam, you can actually feel the heat being pulled away from your hand.
Virtually Odorless
Another common complaint with most memory foam mattresses is the odor. Typically, more dense foams, like memory foam, have a stronger odor because there is a higher concentration of material packed into a given space. Fresh Foam Technology used in TruCell memory foam alleviates odors associated with new memory foam. TruCell visco is "virtually odorless" visco foam because of the new proprietary chemistry of the open-cell structure, allowing it to breathe much easier. In addition, our TruCell memory foam will continue to eliminate odors through the use of activated carbon. It's the same type of material found in premium air filters and other odor filtration devises.
Cradling Effect
Strut reinforcing cellular technology (SRT) provides strength in the cell structure unsurpassed in the industry. SRT made its debut in the spring of 2005. This technology serves two purposes. The first is that it overcomes the cradling effect that many people find to be a nuisance when trying to roll over at night. TruCell memory foam fills in behind you as you turn in bed much quicker than most other memory foams. The second purpose SRT technology serves is that because the walls of the memory foam cells are reinforced, or stronger, it holds up much longer than any other memory foam of the same density on the market.
Support Foam Summary
The base foam used under the TruCell memory foam is M-Grade support foam. M-Grade foam was created specifically for bedding, unlike the very common HR (high resiliency) foams that most bedding manufacturers use, which is also used in furniture and upholstery products. Laboratory tests show that body impressions in a mattress are caused less by weight than what was always previously believed. Tests have shown that salts and moisture from the body actually break down traditional foams, leaving body impressions. M-Grade foam holds up remarkably better in these conditions than any other polyurethane foam currently on the market that has been tested. What does this mean for you? It means a much longer lasting mattress.
This base foam also uses Strut reinforcing cellular technology (SRT). This provides strength in the cell structure, which helps to prolong the life of the foam. You'll notice when you open the mattress for the first time, which will be compressed into a smaller box, the support foam rebounds back to its' original size within seconds. This cannot be said for most any other foam on the market. This is due to the quality of the foam and the reinforced cell structure.
Foam Specifications
There are two types of M-Grade base support foam used. One has a density of 2.1 lbs and an ILD of 32 and the other has a density of 1.8 lbs and an ILD of 26. There are also two types of memory foams used in our mattresses. The better quality mattresses use a 4.0 lb TruCell memory foam with an ILD of 8 - 10, and the more promotional mattresses use a high quality 3.0 lb TruCell memory foam, still sharing the same benefits and attributes of the 4.0 lb memory foam. Overnight Mattress mattresses are made in the USA with strict standards and quality controls. Soy Based Foam
The Preserve® foam used in our mattresses comes from Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company, based
in Hickory, NC. In 2005 they announced the introduction of a breakthrough foam product that reduces
reliance worldwide on non-renewable petrochemical resources in foam manufacturing. This latest
development came at a time of rising petroleum prices and concerns about raw material availability.
This new product marked the Company's first foray into the creation of a flexible polyurethane foam
that replaces a portion of its petrochemical-based ingredients with a reactive material made from a
sustainable, renewable resource, while providing cushioning that is comparable, if not better, in terms
of quality and performance, to oil-based foam formulas on the market today.
Health & Safety
The health and safety of our products is much more important to us than having the cheapest price.
There are many chemicals used in low end mattresses and imported memory foam mattresses that have
been proven harmful. We have chosen Hickory Springs as our foam supplier because of their stance on
health and the environment. With Preserve® foam, Hickory Springs has successfully replaced 30% of the
petrochemical-derived polyol with a bio-based polyol made from soy beans.
The Company’s six foam plants were among the first in the nation to eliminate the use of CFC’s and methylene chloride as auxiliary blowing agents. Hickory Springs has cooperated with consultants hired by the United Nations to assist Third World countries’ cessation of CFC use in the production of flexible polyurethane foam. According to anecdotal evidence only, the use of CFC is common in foam product in China and other Asian countries where the black market for CFCs thrives.
Based on health concerns, Hickory Springs was also an industry leader in the eliminations of PDBE for fire retardants. Based on alarming studies of bioaccumulation in human tissue and negative reports from the European Community, Hickory Springs initiated its own review of PBDE findings and set a goal to remove this product, which had been the industry’s workhorse fire retardant since the mid-1980s. An article that appeared in the LA Times in October 2003 highlighted this effort (see link) and further illustrated Hickory Springs’ role as an industry leader.

CertiPUR Certification
Hickory Springs was the first domestic foam producer to qualify foam for the CertiPUR-US program. The
CertiPUR-US certification process involves intense foam assessment, including VOC testing and chemical
breakdown analysis. It also involves signed affirmation that CertiPUR-US-prohibited ingredients, such as
ozone-depleting CFCs, PBDE fire retardants, lead, mercury and other materials of concern, are not being
utilized in the foaming process.
Hickory Springs is one of several founding members of the CertiPUR-US program, which was officially introduced by the Polyurethane Foam Association in 2007 and is now operated by the Alliance of Flexible Polyurethane Foam, Inc. (AFPF), of which Hickory Springs VP Bobby Bush is chairman.

My husband and I purchased the Bamboo Breeze mattress. We've been sleeping on it for over a month now. We really like it. It's firm enough to give the support that my body needs and yet the topper makes it soft enough, so you don't feel like you are lying on a hard rock. I've been seeing a chiropractor for about 9 months with a shoulder and neck issue. Since sleeping on the Bamboo Breeze, both have started showing improvement, and I've been able to advance to the next level of care, which requires less visists.
We were a bit hesitant to buy a mattress that we hadn't slept on, but are glad we took the risk. The mattress comforms to the body, but does not cause sinking and issues with moving or rolling over. It you move, the matress starts to immediately re-adjust to your body. There was a slight odor when we first opened the mattress. I'm sensitive to smells, so I could smell it but my husband never noticed. It only lasted for a few days. If you unzip the mattress and allow it to "breathe", the odor will go away faster. We are very pleased with our choice and would recommend it to anyone.

We like the product. My wife feels that she is not as stiff when she gets up. She is an extremely light sleeper but does not feel anything when I move on my side of the bed. In my reviews I found that the majority of other manufactures used two layers of foam. Overnight Mattress uses three. Since this is the only foam mattress I have used I can not compare it. What I can compare is the quality of your customer service. I placed the order on line late Saturday which was the last day for a price reduction coupon. The computer did not pick it up. I called the next day, stated my problem and it was immediately corrected by you customer representative. No questions such as are you sure you used the correct code. We just purchased the Bamboo Breeze Cal-King bed and I have to say it is one of THE best beds I have ever slept on.
My boyfriend has a bad back, hip, leg and foot, from an accident 4 years ago. He has not been able to sleep on a flat mattress at all since this happened. I also have arthritis, with back pain, so I have to use several pillows surrounding my body in order to sleep comfortably.
The very first night we slept on it, we BOTH slept like babies! Not sure where this expression came from, as I recall, babies don't sleep well, LOL, but it does mean we slept VERY soundly all night long! I didn't have to use one extra pillow and he slept, not only quietly, without moving all over the bed all night, but he "slept" without waking up once. We both woke up in the morning feeling wonderful.
Oh, and by the way, the customer service in this company is phenomenal, too!
I would definitely recommend the Bamboo Breeze to anyone looking for a comfortable bed. It surrounds you like a cocoon and supports every part of your body that touches it. We're happy campers, for sure!!!! :O) :O)

Wow I don't know how to explain how wonderful this mattress is. We got the Bamboo Breeze 11" Mattress. Coming off a water bed my wife and I were a little Leary about this Mattress, but it has been great for our backs. There is no more tossing and turning, we sleep all night. I remember the day before I ordered my bed from your company I was hesitant that the product shown on your website wouldn't match what I received and also worried about many other things like the firmness of the bed, if your company was really legit etc. Well finally I called your Customer Service call center and I got helped over the phone but a beautiful lady who answered all my questions without making me feel rushed to get off the phone. A couple days later my new gadget arrived via Federal Express (FEDEX). When I opened the box I was so happy to see a comfy bed; at first I thought to myself will the bed actually get bigger - and sure enough it did. That evening I went to sleep and I have to say having a very bad back issue I woke up feeling so refreshed; I literally was so comfortable I wish I could sleep 24 hrs a day. Well unfortunately we had to go out of town the following evening without our bamboo mattress; we had someone sleep over and they told me how amazing the bed was. How comfortable they felt and how they sunk into the bed.. Well I eventually came home and to be honest I rather be sleeping in my bed that your company manufactures because of how comfortable I have been. I literally always complain about how hotel beds hurt my back, and how I wake up feeling like I just got hit by a semi-truck I wish somehow every single hotel in the nation would take my advice and order your bed..
Its been now over 1 year that I am a proud owner of your mattress and never once complained. I think its totally amazing that when you're sleeping with someone else in the bed you both have the bed adjust to your own back; other beds don't do this.

Here are my comments about the the PureBliss 12-Inch Bamboo Memory Foam Mattress # 5 that I received one week ago from Overnight Mattress.
I like it very much. I have owned the highly advertised adjustable air bed, and I have owned several other mattresses. But, I confidently say that this memory foam mattress by Overnight is the most comfortable I have ever slept on. 1. My wife tells me that I don't toss and turn as much as I use to and I know I don't. 2. However I lay, I don't excessively feel any part (shoulder blades, calves, elbows, knees, shoulders) of my body like I did on other mattresses, because I am equally supported throughout. 3. It is the most temperature neutral and least humidity trapping bed that I have ever slept on. 4. I now look forward to going to bed and sleeping on it and I wake up more rested then I ever did on my other mattresses.

Bamboo Memory Foam Mattress. My wife and I order this mattress just after Christmas of 2009 and it shipped promptly. After sleeping on it for a few nights both of us agreed that we felt bruised and that the mattress with the bamboo cover was just too hard. We called customer service and they suggested we unzip the top cover so that we would be directly on the foam. What we found when we unzipped the cover was shocking. Their were holes and stains throughout the memory foam and we found hair and what appeared to be grass around the cover. We took pictures and sent them in to customer service and they said they were shocked as well. They gave us the option to trade it out and retain the comfort guarantee for the remaining nights, or they said they would upgrade us to the Bamboo Royale at no cost but we would forfeit the remainer of the guarantee. We opted for the latter. We were told it would ship out over a week ago, but to date, no one will respond to our calls or e-mails and we have received no shipping information. We are upset at the poor quality of the mattress and customer service. We are still waiting in hopes to resolve this problem, and I will post another message to inform you all of what happens.

My husband and I have been sleeping on the bamboo mattress for over a year now and I love it. He wishes we would of got a little bit firmer one but this is the one I like. We were going from a waterbed to this so it was a very big change for us. we had been looking at mattress's for awhile and we just did not like the coil mattress at all. We looked the Tempur- pedic but they are just so pricey that we couldn't see spending that kind of money on a mattress. So I went online and stumbled onto this website and was amazed how cheap they were and you could try it out and if you didn't like it you could send it back. WOW so we ordered after doing some research and reading other reviews about the company.
The order process was so easy and they are so friendly on the phone. The mattress came it was in such a small package I couldn't believe that it was a CAL King but we opened it over the top of our bed and sure enough it expanded just like they say it will.

My review is for the bamboo style mattress. I bought this mattress a year ago and think I am familiar with it enough to write an educated review. Take my word for it, this mattress is a winner. Let me count the ways. I suffered from back pain that required me to visit a chiropractor a few times; once I started using this mattress, it was all gone. I know it sounds like a commercial but it is not, this is for real. Your sleeping area will seem much larger because you can sleep close to the edges without feeling like you are going to fall; the surface support is constant wherever you are. No more turning and twisting, you just sleep good through the whole night. You will start looking forward to going to bed. This company is very smart. I had researched the subject for months before I actually bought it and found out that their price/value ratio is the best in the market. How do they do it? Well, my take is that they took the fanciness out of it and give you a product that is no-nonsense. Realize that they only offer one or two basic mattresses and different covers that goes with them. After reading dozens of pages, I realized why. Studies show that 90 % of people will like their formula. There is about 5% who would like it firmer and about 5% who would like softer, so they cut a lot of costs by going after the big segment. If you are in these 5% you still might get away with it by getting a different cover, like I had to do for my wife, she prefers it with the bamboo cover. Doesn't make any difference to me.
There is only one problem, but it can be easily fixed for about 20 bucks. The versiflex foundation box is the only weakness. To fix it you need to construct two more rails like the center rail that it comes with and add one on each side to support the whole structure evenly. Once you do, you are in for a luxurious night sleep. Without this you are only 80% there. This requires very rudimentary tools and minimal skills. Only wish the company would have done it itself. I purchased the Bamboo Memory Foam Mattress (comfort #4) and weigh around 200 pounds. This is important info because I find the mattress to be soft and my girlfriend (110 pounds) doesn't think it's so soft. She does say it is very comfortable though. My children love it as well. I have waited for just about a year before I gave my review. I'm glad I did because at first I found the mattress to be very comfortable but also found it to be hot at times. After the first couple of months I found that the sweating ceased and the comfort increased. I have a very bad back and I have to say that since I've slept on this mattress I've not had any problems. I have no complaints what-so-ever and I believe it is the best purchase I've ever made. Also, the tech support was very good and delivery was just as they said it would be. Be sure to have help when it is delivered because it is hard to handle by yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Let' s just say Wow... We bought three of your mattress's for our vacation home and we and anyone who sleeps in them love them. We have since bought a fourth upgrading from a queen to a king. We just love going to the house to to get a chance to sleep in it because it is so comfortable.
We have the more expensive competitors foam mattress's at our main home but we like yours just as well and maybe better.
The speed of the shipping was great and the packaging is neat, just cut open and watch the mattress expand like an inflatable boat. How you get such big mattress's into those size boxes is amazing. The optional base with the unrolling slats is a really great idea it goes together in a flash and is super strong.

My husband and I have found our new mattresses to be comfortable and easy to sleep on. It's also nice that the bed doesn't reverberate movement from one person to the other person. The customer service was excellent. Delivery very fast. However, the foundation did ship after the mattress; making me wait to put the bed totally together. The mattress is very good overall. I seem to sleep more soundly and do not have to reposition myself as often as with my old mattress. I read that some people perspired a lot with the foam mattresses. I have noticed that myself. Not sure if it's me or my hormones! So, I will not say the mattress is at fault here. I do like the fact that the mattress rises to meet your body. If feels great on your back when you first get in. Very supportive for a foam mattress. Even if I sit on the edge to put my shoes on; it supports me just like a spring mattress. I am thinking of someday changing the top layer to the next level. I bought my mattress because it was USA made. I like the way it is made. I bought it because I have lower back pain. On a coil spring mattress, I could not sleep because of sharp back pains. I had to have an egg crate mattress between me and the other mattress because of the fabric texture being too rough. I liked getting the mattress cover, sheets, pillows just for buying the mattress. - In the event that repair or replacement resulting from a defect is required, Overnight Mattress will repair or replace (at Overnight Mattress's option) the defective product or component at a cost to the original purchaser based on the previous tables. Mattress Packaging - What to Expect
Every mattress is compressed and rolled in our factory in Tennessee. They are usually packaged the same day or one day before they are shipped. The mattresses come in two separate boxes and will be shipped seperately. The inner support foam core (9" thick) comes in one box with the zip-on quilted cover and foam topper comes in the second box. The only assembly involves inserting the topper layer to the top zipper chamber. It's as simple as that!
Because of the high density and premium quality of both the foam topper (memory foam, latex foam, or gel foam) and M-Grade base foam used in all foam mattresses, they rebound to their original size within minutes of opening. Other compressed foam mattresses can take several days before they are ready for use. When ordering from Overnight Mattress, you can rest assured that your new bed will be ready to sleep on almost immediately.
